I'm a self-taught front-end developer who got obsessed with a question most people don't want to ask out loud: "Is my job actually safe from AI?"
That question turned into Job Security Meter, a tool that doesn't just tell you there's a problem, but gives you the important insights to solve it. I've spent time to get the most accurate results from llm's, calibrating it against real labor data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, O*NET, and academic research from Oxford's Future of Employment study.
Before this, I built CalcSuite an open-source suite of web calculators used by thousands. I write about my journey on DEV Community and am currently diving deep into agentic development and autonomous AI workflows.
I believe that AI won't replace people but people who use AI will replace those who don't. My goal with Job Security Meter is to make sure you're in the first group.
