See your resume the way the filter sees it.

Hundreds of applications and no callbacks usually isn't a you problem - it's a parsing problem. This shows you the machine-readable version of your resume, flags what's being dropped, and rewrites the lines. Free, 30 seconds, no signup.

What the ATS reads

Dropped entirely

[ table: skills grid — unread ]

Read, but weakly

“Responsible for reporting and analysis” — no metric, no tool, no scope.

Parsed cleanly

Job titles, dates and employer names — all matched.

Every flag comes with the rewritten line.

The six dimensions

Six things that get resumes filtered out

01 · Structure

Tables, columns and text boxes

The most common silent failure. A two-column layout often reads as interleaved nonsense, and a skills table can vanish completely.

02 · Titles

Internal job titles nobody searches

“Growth Ninja II” doesn't match any req. You get the market-standard title to sit beside yours, not instead of it.

03 · Evidence

Duties written instead of results

“Responsible for” lines get rewritten into scope, tool and outcome - using facts already in your resume, never invented numbers.

04 · Coverage

Skills the job asks for, absent

Paste a job ad and get the honest gap list: what you have and haven't said, and what you genuinely don't have.

05 · Dates

Gaps and formats that trip parsers

Inconsistent date formats can shuffle your history. Real gaps get framing suggestions rather than being hidden.

06 · Length

What to cut, specifically

Named lines to delete, ranked by how little they earn their space - not “consider shortening”.

Before and after

Two rewrites, using only what was already there

Before

“Responsible for weekly reporting and ad-hoc analysis for the commercial team.”

After

“Owned the commercial team's weekly reporting in SQL and Looker, replacing four manual spreadsheets with one refreshed dashboard used by 30 people.”

Before

“Helped with the migration project.”

After

“Migrated 60+ legacy reports to the new warehouse over two quarters, documenting each definition so the finance team could self-serve.”

Every rewrite is built from facts already in your file. Nothing is invented - if a number isn't there, the rewrite asks you for it rather than making one up. You approve each line before it lands in the exported version.

Plain explanation

How resume filtering actually works in 2026

Most large employers run applications through an applicant tracking system - Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday and a handful of others. The system converts your file to text, tries to identify sections, and stores the result as structured fields.

Two things follow from that. First, anything the converter can't read effectively doesn't exist - which is why layout matters more than wording. Second, recruiters usually search that stored text by title and skill, so a line that reads beautifully to a human but omits the searchable term never surfaces.

What this tool does not claim: there is no secret score to game, and no honest way to guarantee an interview. Keyword stuffing and white text are detected and get applications binned.

What it does: show you the converted text, name what was lost, and rewrite lines so the true version of your experience is both readable and findable. That's the whole mechanism, described honestly.

Resume questions

Asked about the scan

Is the Resume Maximiser scan free?

Yes. Your resume score and the full issue breakdown are completely free, and no signup is required. Only the optional AI rewrite is paid.

Will this get me past the ATS?

It gets your real experience readable and findable, which is what you can actually control. The score is an AI-generated estimate for guidance only and is not produced or endorsed by any specific employer or applicant tracking system. Nobody can promise an interview, and any tool that does is selling you something else.

Does it invent achievements or numbers?

No. Rewrites use only facts already in your file. Where a metric would strengthen a line, you're asked for it - you approve every line before export.

Do you store my resume?

Free scans are processed in memory and are not stored on our servers. If you purchase the AI rewrite, we securely save your resume so you can view and download it again later. We never share your data or use it to train models.

What is the difference between the free scan and the AI rewrite?

The free scan tells you what is wrong: a 0-100 hiring-signal score, a six-dimension breakdown, and the specific issues detected. The paid AI rewrite fixes it, returning a rewritten, ATS-oriented resume as a downloadable PDF targeted at the role you select.

Do I need the paid roadmap for this to be useful?

No, they're separate. The scan fixes how you're read today; the roadmap is about what you'll be worth in a year. Using one never requires the other.
