The text

Dave had done everything right. Eleven years as a backend engineer, a staff title, and a comp package his parents still brag about. Then his CEO went “AI-first,” and the team down the hall was swapped for an agent workflow and two contractors. That night he couldn't sleep, so he texted Meet.

The weekend

Meet built something ugly: paste in a resume, split it into the tasks you actually do, and rate each one against what AI can already do today. Dave scored 41. The breakdown was the scary part - about sixty percent of his week was work the tools already handled.

So he stopped competing with them and took on what they couldn't do: the architecture calls, the design reviews, the 3 a.m. outages. When the next cuts came, his name wasn't on the list.

Then friends started asking. A QA lead. A data analyst. Someone's dad, a CPA. Around the fortieth request, Meet rebuilt it properly: hand-written role audits, public labor data from the BLS and O*NET, and a six-month roadmap. Because a score without a plan is just anxiety with a number on it.

AI won't take your job. Someone who saw it coming might. We'd rather that someone be you.
